LOCAL INSURANCE AGENT RECEIVES NATIONAL AWARD

Comfrey S. Ickes, Jr., with Ickes Insurance and Financial Services has recently been awarded the National Quality Award. The National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU), located in Washington, D.C. confers this award to promote and recognize excellence in client and customer representation.

The National Quality Award was created in 1944 and recognizes an agent's ability to provide long-standing insurance products and service to clients.

Only ten to fifteen percent of the nation's insurance agents receive one of these annual, prestigious NALU industry awards. The National Association of Life Underwriters was founded in 1890 and represents over 100,000 professionals in life, health, property/casualty insurance and other financial services.

Mr. Ickes started selling life insurance and other financial products in 1957. This is the 14th year that he has won the National Quality Award.
